Everything about this place is special. The food is authentic so authentic that the rice served here is homestyle rice by far the best rice offered in any restaurant. That care taken with just a side dish shows how the main dishes go. All of the dishes are flavor, packed authentic, and the best representation of Mexico and her culinary presentation. Their service is amazing. The environment is relaxed and chill. The cocktails are amazing. The Mexican street corn is white corn. It doesn't get more Mexican than that that's the real deal!! DO NOT SLEEP on this place!
Best steak nachos in Texas !!!! Kaitlyn is the best bartender and makes the best drinks! Omar, Julieta and their staff are all great people :) It’s always a pleasure to be in this place with good friends like Omar, Robert, Sergio, and Guillermo. Omar always treats us exceptionally well, and the service and quality of the food are outstanding.
Wonderful little place for Mexican food. They have a nice brunch. I opted for the fish tacos. They were delicious. Such nice fish and wonderful sauce. The tortillas were so good. The star was the warm chips and salsa. They were so good. The eggs and pancakes were good as well. We also tried the huevos rancheros with both of the sauces. The places is very cute. I loved all of the paintings up. Our server was very good. She made sure we had everything we needed. It was a nice place to take our time and enjoy our meals.
EVERYTHING we ordered was so good! It’s not close to home but I would definitely drive back for a slice of the Rosa Mexicano dessert.
My wife and I ate several meals at this lovely restaurant next to our hotel while we waited two days for our rescheduled flight home. Everything we ordered - cocktails, appetizers, salads, main dishes - all were delicious and beautiful with high quality ingredients. The owners, Omar and Julieta were super friendly and justifiable proud of their food. If you live in Irving, come to Cielito and expect to have a great dinner. Save the burrito expectations for those other Mexican restaurants.
I have been here multiple times this past month and I have to say the margaritas are the freshest I’ve ever had. Also the pina colada is to die for. I have not one complaint about the food. Everything I try is phenomenal and fresh. And to top it off the service is top notch! This is a place I will continue to come to while moving between here and my home state. Everything is perfection. We tend to order more drinks so it’s on the pricey side but as my husband says we are a bit ridiculous:)

As a Mexican, it’s rare to find cochinita pibil outside of Yucatan that instantly transports me back to its deeply traditional and authentic flavors. The meat was perfectly marinated in achiote, tender to the point of falling apart with just a fork, and the balance between the citrus of the sour orange and the earthy spices was absolutely masterful. Every bite is a tribute to the soul of southeastern Mexico. I paired it with a frozen mango margarita, and honestly, I can’t think of a better combination. Refreshing, with the natural sweetness of ripe mango, but what truly won me over was its strength—no skimping on the tequila, and I truly appreciate that. It’s not just a drink; it enhances the dish and the entire experience. The experience wouldn’t be the same without the impeccable service. The staff is not only attentive but creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you genuinely don’t want to leave. They make you feel at home, with sincere smiles and a clear passion for what they do.
